Before processing your order

Do you accept requests from recruiters and headhunters?
Absolutely not! We work exclusively with end clients and present them with our own contracts. We categorically rule out contracting through third parties. This particularly applies to companies in the temporary employment sector.
How long does it take to receive a quote for my inquiry?
If your inquiry contains all the important and relevant information we need for our calculations, we can send you the quote via email within 24 hours of your inquiry. If we have follow-up questions or issues are unclear, it may take a few hours longer. However, we usually respond within 48 hours, and you'll have a concrete estimate of costs and completion times for your project.
How is the collaboration regulated contractually?
There are three ways to do this: For existing customers with whom we have a long-standing, trusting relationship, it is possible to work without specific written contracts. New customers and customers who have already attracted attention due to poor creditworthiness or late payments receive either a PDF offer for confirmation or an explicit work contract that clearly regulates the relationship between client and contractor.
Which input formats are accepted?
We accept any CAD, image data, or exchange format. The most common are DWG, JPG, PNG, and PDF. In addition, it is often necessary to submit sketches or handwritten entries. These are accepted as scans in PDF or any image data format. You can also submit PDFs with comments or sketched geometries.
Can I change planning information that has already been submitted?
Yes! This is possible. You can change planning information that has already been submitted to us. If this results in significant additional work for us, we will notify you of this, treat it as an addendum, and invoice you separately. It is therefore in your interest to provide us with planning information that we can work on reliably.

During processing your order

Will I have a dedicated contact person to manage my project?
Yes. Typically, your project will be managed by a dedicated employee. This person will be your dedicated contact person for any queries, the entire data transfer, acceptance, and any necessary audits. If you so wish, we will endeavor to maintain this established relationship of trust in subsequent assignments.
Will my project be handled exclusively in-house?
Yes. We expressly guarantee this. We will not engage third parties or share your data during the project. All tasks will be handled exclusively in-house.
Which CAD, BIM, or GIS software do you use?
We work with professional applications from Autodesk, Trimble, and Nemetschek, as well as open source solutions and software under GNU licenses. With our tools, we cover the entire spectrum of tasks within the AEC industry and offer our clients excellent results.
Which formats can be exported after my order has been processed?
After processing your order, we can output any available CAD or BOM format, such as IFC 2x3 or IFC4, as well as native CAD formats such as DXF, DWG, and SKP. You will receive plans either in open source DWG format or in closed PDF format. Naturally, all layers contained in the CAD structures are displayed in the PDFs; you can turn these on and off. We also output Ultra HD graphics, such as JPG, PNG, TIF etc. and animations in MP4 or other video formats.
Can I view work progress or live updates?
Yes, it's possible. Intermediate statuses and results during the work process are saved in a CDE, to which you will receive one or more password-protected access points. This allows you to get a daily overview of the progress of your project.

After processing your order

How will I be notified when my order is completed?
You will receive an email from the responsible employee in our company and a notification from CDE confirming completion. From this moment on, the inspection period applies, within which you must inspect and accept the service or submit a substantiated complaint to us.
What is your complaint rate?
Our complaint rate is currently below 5 percent, the lowest since the company was founded. We carefully review every output so that we are increasingly staying below this level.
In what form should I send you a complaint?
We only accept your complaint in writing. We are happy to discuss any content that may need to be revised verbally, remotely, or via video call in advance – however, your written submission will still be required.

Pricing and payment terms

Where can I find your current pricing structure? Can I view it online?
Yes. In the pricing section, we have provided a very clear summary of our current fees for you. You will also find additional information there that transparently explains how our prices are determined.
Can I pay by credit card or PayPal?
No. We only accept bank transfers to our business account or cash payments.
What's your general payment deadline?
As a rule, payments are due within ten calendar days. We're sure you'll understand that we do not tolerate late payments or grant extensions without prior agreement.
My company is located outside the EU. In what currency do I have to pay?
We generally only accept payments in euros. Please instruct your bank to make the payment to us in EUR.

Scheduling, acceptance and auditing

How long do I have to review and accept services?
Immediately after data records are transferred to you or notification of completion and deposit in the CDE, you must review services and accept them in writing within five days.

Liability and responsibilities

What liability principles apply?
Schneider Seidel Associates is liable exclusively for grossly negligent or willful disruptions to performance or incorrect content. Data delivered to you by us is subject to your duty to review. You must evaluate the quality of the content of the services we provide within a reasonable period during the acceptance period. After acceptance, no liability claims generally apply.

Communication with clients and within the project team

What communication channels are offered?
You can communicate by email, phone, video call, or mail. We generally do not schedule in-person appointments with clients.

Data protection efforts and intellectual property

When do I receive the right to use a service I commissioned and that you provided?
You generally receive the right to use works created by us after payment to us has been completed. The right of use transferred to you is valid for an unlimited period of time and scope for works provided by us in their original form.

Drone-based surveying is now a core service—rapid capture, lower risk, and survey-grade results. We operate RTK/PPK drones with rigorous ground control to acquire dense, consistent data on construction sites, industrial plants, corridors, and quarries. From photogrammetry and LiDAR we produce clean, well-registered point clouds and keep alignment tight across missions.

The real advantage is our after-processing. We classify clouds, remove noise and occlusions, and turn raw data into usable outputs: watertight meshes, DSM/DTM terrain, contours, breaklines, volumetrics, and true-scale orthomosaics.

For CAD and BIM, we simplify geometry, enforce topology, and deliver DWG/DXF, LandXML, or IFC—accurately georeferenced to your coordinate system.

Quality controls are built in: automated checks, versioned change tracking, and clear metadata.

The result is reliable terrain and structure models that drop straight into design workflows for coordination and quantity takeoff. Typical use cases include progress monitoring, as-built documentation, earthworks tracking, stockpiles, corridor mapping, asset inspection, and pre-design feasibility.

this is how we do it

We rely on state-of-the-art technologies to deliver our projects with maximum efficiency and precision. A key element of our approach is the integration of our clients into a Common Data Environment (CDE). Through this platform, we receive, distribute, store, and securely archive all project data in a transparent and structured way.

For this, we use the highly powerful application Trimble® Connect™, which we license ourselves and provide to our clients. Its advanced functionality ensures seamless collaboration, data security, and transparency—critical factors for safeguarding project success and achieving outstanding results together.

When we look at our most successful projects, a clear pattern emerges: every single one of them was built on the foundation of a Common Data Environment (CDE). By centralizing all project information—drawings, models, documents, and communications—into one secure and structured platform, we enabled all stakeholders to collaborate with remarkable efficiency and clarity.

A CDE creates a single source of truth. It eliminates the confusion of multiple versions, ensures that everyone is always working on the latest data, and significantly reduces the risk of errors or costly rework. This clarity empowers teams to make decisions faster and with greater confidence, keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

With built-in version control, access management, and streamlined workflows, the CDE provides structure while remaining flexible to the unique needs of each project. It allows project participants to work simultaneously, knowing that their contributions are securely stored, transparently documented, and instantly available to others.

Ultimately, the use of a CDE has proven to be the key to stronger collaboration, higher productivity, and consistently successful outcomes. It is not just a tool— it is the heart of effective modern project delivery.

At Schneider Seidel, we harness cutting edge technologies — such as laser scanning for existing buildings and drone overflights for entire neighborhoods or digital terrain models — to deliver exceptionally precise point cloud data. By capturing millions of points in high resolution, we generate accurate three‑dimensional representations of structures and sites. These robust data sets can be seamlessly imported into any industry‑standard CAD software using plugins, enabling further modeling.

Whether you’re planning renovations, urban developments, or infrastructure projects, our workflow ensures maximum accuracy, efficiency, and compatibility. We bridge advanced surveying techniques with practical digital tools to streamline planning, visualization, and collaboration. Ultimately, our innovative approach provides architects, engineers, and planners with reliable, editable point‑cloud models to support informed decisions and high‑quality deliverables across every phase of your project.
